Dear itSMF Switzerland Member,
The next General Assembly of itSMF Switzerland (26 June 2008 - 9:00 at the Hotel Alpha-Palmiers, across the train station in Lausanne) will be important for the development/evolution of our association and we expect a maximum number of participants.
We will present during this General Assembly:
- The annual report of the board
- The accounts for 2008
- The minutes of the General Assembly for 2008
- The auditor's report
- The activities planned for 2009 (Round Table - meeting - Best Practice)
You may view the minutes of the General Assembly for 2008 and the invitation to this year's General Assembly at www.itsmf.ch under the rubric General Assemblies (GA).
- Elect new board members
Concerning the nomination of new board members, we remind you that responsibilities exist for two regions and for two regional managers. Thus, the positions and their responsibilities currently are:
- President - Serge Thorn
- Manager itSMF French Switzerland - Alain Mageux
- Manager Best Practices - Robert Falkowitz
- Manager itSMF German Switzerland - Markus Schweizer
- Administration and Treasurer - Alain Mageux (Interim)
The following positions will have to be voted:
- President
- Manager itSMF French Switzerland
Regarding the open positions on the board:
- Administration and Treasurer (a knowledge of accounting and of legal requirements would be appreciated)
Additional positions are open within the regional groups. These positions do not require election during the General Assembly and are under the responsibility of the regional Manager.
Several members have indicated to us their desire to join the board of itSMF Switzerland and we invite all who so desire to officially indicate to us their candidacy by email before 23rd June 2009. We remind you that the candidacies of representatives of user companies take precedence, although places may be available for representatives of supplier companies. |
